GREEN, AMBER, and RED

Do you know what list your travel destination is in?

The government is constantly addressing the safety of travelling to countries across the world.

The travel corridors are currently being controlled under a traffic light system.

If you are planning to travel internationally you need to understand the rules of the country you are travelling, what light they comer under, and what tests you need to travel legally and safely.

Green Countries

If you are travelling to a GREEN listed country, these are the tests and rules you will need to follow:

Take a Covid Test for departure AND arrival in the UK.

You will need to fill out a Passenger Locator Form.

Take a Day 2 test once you have returned to the UK.

(Children aged 4 and under do not need to take this test.)

You do not need to quarantine unless the test result is positive.

Amber Countries

If you are travelling to a Amber listed country, these are the tests and rules you will need to follow:

Take a Covid Test for departure AND arrival in the UK.

You will need to fill out a Passenger Locator Form.

quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days

Take a COVID-19 test on or before Day 2 and on or after Day 8

(Children aged 4 and under do not need to take the day 2 or day 8 test.)

If you want to book a Day 5 Test to Release, upon a negative result you can release early from quarantine.

Red Countries

If you are travelling to a Red listed country, these are the tests and rules you will need to follow:

Take a Covid Test for departure AND arrival in the UK.

You will need to fill out a Passenger Locator Form.

Book a government approved quarantine hotel and Day 2 and Day 8 tests.

It’s important before you travel to check if there are any additional requirements for the country you are entering.

You also need to ensure you check if your departure Covid test needs to be a PCR or an Antigen test.
