Do you need an emergency test out of hours? Booking a test during Out of Hours is subject to additional charges. If you are able to book during our open hours we recommend this.

Yes, we are government approved and UKAS accredited.

Yes, the lab we use is one of the 4 government approved laboratories in the country.

The antigen swab test gives you a very reliable indicator of whether you have or have not currently got the virus.  A positive result has a very high chance of confirming if you are carrying covid-19 virus in sufficient quantities (viral load) to make you infectious. There is of course a margin for error in any test, but the margin is small.

The antibody blood test gives you a very reliable indicator of whether you have been exposed to the virus by detecting certain antibodies in your blood. Please note; it is not yet fully known if an individual with a positive result showing presence of IgG levels following being infected with COVID-19 will be protected, either fully or partially from future infection, or for how long the protective immunity may last.

Whilst both tests are swabs, the PCR test swabs are sent to a laboratory for accurate testing to determine your results. This is a more in-depth test; the antigen swab can be less accurate. Therefore, some countries around the world require a PCR test to enter instead of an Antigen.

You will receive your Antigen test results within 15 minutes.

Your certificate will then be ready within 30 minutes.

We have multiple options for our PCR tests. Our standard PCR tests results are back to you within 48 hours, your certificate will be sent with this.

We also have express options for faster results for either a 12 hour, or a 24-hour service. These have an additional charge for the express results.

With the government and countries across the world constantly reviewing their rules on travelling it is important to check with both the Gov.uk website and your airline prior to your trip as to what test you need.

Being vaccinated or not can also change what tests you need so be sure to check this with the rules as well.

Yes, you can. We accept both walk-in and same day appointments. We do advise booking through our website ahead of your travel to reduce your stress levels. However, if you need to book or walk-in for an appointment last-minute that’s okay too!

Yes, all our tests are approved by the government for international travel.

Only our return antigen tests are sent to you via the post.

All our other tests – antigen, pcr, antibody, are performed in person at our testing facilities. Our staff then hand deliver the tests to the lab to ensure we get the results back fast. We do not use courier services for these.

We email your results and certificate to the email address you provide us with.

Yes, you will receive a unique QR code with your results and certificate.

No. As a government approved provider your results will be automatically sent to PHE.

We highly recommend getting your tests done by a trained facility in person. By doing so you will get more accurate results as this will reduce the chance of a null test. All of our tests are performed by a trained person at our facilities to ensure the accuracy of results.

A trained member of staff with specialised, government approved training will perform the test.

COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.

The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are:

  • A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • A loss of or change in sense of smell or taste

There is currently no specific treatment for COVID-19. You can ease the symptoms at home until you recover by:

  • Get plenty of rest.
  • Drink water to keep yourself hydrated. You should drink enough to ensure your urine is a pale, clear color.
  • Use over-the-counter medications such as paracetamol to help with some of your symptoms. Make sure you follow manufacturer’s instructions and do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Make sure you isolate so that you are not spreading the virus.
  • If your symptoms are persisting call 111.
  • If your symptoms dramatically worsen, call 999.

  • Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly for 20 seconds throughout the day.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or into the crook of your elbow if you do not have tissues. Dispose of tissues in a rubbish bin and immediately wash your hands.
  • Practise social distancing where possible.
  • Wear a face covering when appropriate.
  • Get your vaccinations done.
